The consolidation of Bexley Seabury’s two sites, announced last November, is underway. By July 25, all of the seminary will be under one roof at Chicago Theological Seminary in Chicago’s historic and vibrant Hyde Park/Woodlawn neighborhood.

Today is the final day at our Columbus site, at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. We continue to celebrate and give thanks for our 17 years of shared worship and ministry with the Trinity Lutheran community. You can read Bexley Seabury’s letter of farewell here, read by President Ferlo at the 2016 Commencement ceremony on May 21.
Our Chicago staff and faculty will remain at the Higgins Road site for most of July. Beginning Monday, July 25, Bexley Seabury staff and faculty will be situated on the second floor of Chicago Theological Seminary’s beautiful facility on East 60th Street (at Dorchester). For most staff and faculty, phone numbers will remain the same.
The entire campus is environmentally responsible, accessible to persons with differing needs, and well-equipped for both community building and distance learning.
Fall term beings August 31
Our faculty have an exciting fall term planned for new and continuing students. Most fall courses are offered in a hybrid format with three weekend classroom sessions approximately one month apart linked by online learning.
Registration is open now through August 19. As always, courses are open to all, and most can be taken for academic credit or continuing education credit or for enrichment (audit/no credit). We encourage you to explore upcoming course options.
