Victor Conrado

Before being called to serve as Assistant Rector for Spanish-Language Ministries at St. Mark’s in October 2011, the Rev. Victor H. Conrado was a Roman Catholic Missionary Priest who worked for 11 years in Kenya, Africa.  After being received into the Episcopal Church in July 2011, he worked as Administrator and Assisting Priest at Church of the Atonement in Chicago.

Victor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the St. Bonaventure University in Colombia and completed a Masters in Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology in Nairobi, Kenya (a constituent college university of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome). He was ordained priest in 2001 and was received as an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Chicago on July 7, 2011. Victor is married to Lucia Conrado. They have two sons, David Antonio and Daniel Santiago.

As a missionary priest in Kenya, Victor worked to start new missions that would be transformed into self-supported and self-ministered parishes. He worked for three years in the formation of new missionaries from Latin America and Africa and for two years as regional director in East Africa for the Roman Catholic missionary society.
