The Rev. Victor H. Conrado is Associate Rector, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where he has served since 2011 when he joined the parish as Assistant Rector for Spanish-Language Ministries. Prior to joining St. Mark’s, he worked as Administrator and Assisting Priest at Church of the Atonement in Chicago. Before being received into the Episcopal Church, Victor was a Roman Catholic Missionary Priest and served 11 years in Kenya, Africa.
Victor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the St. Bonaventure University in Colombia and a Masters in Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology in Nairobi, Kenya (a constituent college university of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome). He was ordained priest in 2001 and was received as an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Chicago on July 7, 2011. Victor is married to Lucia Conrado. They have two sons, David Antonio and Daniel Santiago.
As a missionary priest in Kenya, Victor worked to start new missions that went on to become self-supported and self-ministered parishes. He worked for three years in the formation of new missionaries from Latin America and Africa and for two years as regional director in East Africa for the Roman Catholic missionary society.
