Barbara is Presbytery Community Organizer and executive staff member of the Presbytery of Chicago, Presbyterian Church USA. She facilitates building collaborative partnerships to help strengthen the vitality and mission of the 100 congregations, mission work groups, and related agencies in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. She is an Ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she has served for 23 years as senior pastor and administrator. Her first career was in the federal criminal justice system. Barbara earned her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from McCormick Theological Seminary.
